                 Special Releases:
                 Bottling of our 2004 Chardonnay gris and "wacky whites" took place in April.
                 The wacky whites moved to screw cap closure this year. The CG will be released
                 in mid-summer, but all others are available now. This series features our limited production
          white wines, along with our delicious dessert Pinot noir. Also known as our Wacky Whites—if
          for no reason other than the fun had in producing new varieties. Call them what you will, these
          wines are both exciting, and unique. Because of its limited production and, in the case of our
          Cuvee Speciale L’OPPIDUM , their position as the first of their kind released by an Oregon
          producer. Give it a try and let us know what you think.

        If you've been a fan of the 2001 Cuvee Speciale L’OPPIDUM in the past, it's in very limited supply
        this year (80 cases), so don't wait to get yours.

    The 2002 LaVance Signature Chardonnay was our first bottling of this unique variety. If you
    didn't have a chance to try it last year, give it a try now. It's fabulous. (And, each bottle comes
    with a little pronunciation guide.)

    The 1999 LaVance Signature Merlot is incredibly crisp, with bright acidity, and fruit that leaps
    at you. We watched many happy faces at first sniff and taste of this wine over Memorial Day
    weekend. Deglacé. It's tradition of yumminess continues, without question. It's all about the fruit!

    Today, these special wines are the exquisite focus of our vineyard and winemaking team’s
    dedication and enthusiasm, concentrated into your wineglass.
